A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Data Scientist, you will be an essential part of the Blades & Vanes Network Strategy team, focusing on data-driven forecast validation and manufacturing network capacity planning. The Data Scientist will analyze and visualize capacity gaps in the network, enabling data-driven decision-making and planning efficiency. In addition, the position will develop cross-organizational dashboards to steer the business by data. Furthermore, actively manage partnerships with key teams such as Procurement, Product Management, and the Competence Centers.

- Improving Efficiency: By optimizing the Sales & Operations Planning process.
- Empowering Decision-Making: By analyzing data and providing actionable insights.
- Identifying Trends and Opportunities: By analyzing large datasets.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree highly preferred (in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field). 3+ years industry experience.
- Technical Expertise including experience in Mendix, Snowflake, Alteryx and Tableau or related frameworks. Analytical Skills including strong ability to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights.
- Problem-Solving: Innovative thinking to tackle challenging problems and develop effective solutions. Flexibility to adapt and learn new tools and techniques as the field of data science evolves.
- Effective and clear communication to express findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with colleagues from different departments.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
